Bang For Your Buck

As I said a few times in previous columns, I am not a big fan of teasers or parlays. However, you certainly get bang for your buck. This week on the college football slate, there are several teams that I feel offer value and somewhat of a safe play if you tease them up or down.

The point spread is altered by 10 points each way.The odds for this teaser are 1.3 to win 1.0 or -130, so we’re looking at $130 to win $100. Not all college football betting sites will offer ten-point teasers, and there will be a difference in the odds, depending on if ties lose or not. The principle though remains the same: the number of points chosen will be added to the point spread or total. College Football Picks & NCAA Football Predictions Picks and Parlays hits the gridiron hard and provides college football picks and predictions for every game on the card each week. Our talented team gives you expert picks on NCAA Football from opening night in August through the bowl season and CFP National Championship game in January. With college football teasers, bettors choose at least two games and both must win for the bet to cash. Let’s say you play a three-team 7-point college football teaser with the Clemson -3, Ohio State -8 and Notre Dame +5. Since you can alter the point spread by seven points, the teaser would be Clemson +4, Ohio State -1 and Notre Dame +12. Jan 11, 2021 NCAA Football Picks. California +10 teased goes to +16

Turning the ball over and a defense that has been a doormat, Oregon just isn’t playing the type of football that warrants them laying big points. Especially against a Cal team which has improved with each passing week.

Indiana +14 teased goes to +20

At 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS, Indiana is money. Yes, they don’t have the best-run defense. And yes, they face one of the best rushing units in the nation. But this team has shown they can hang and even beat better opponents.

Texas Tech -27 teased goes to -21

At 0-8 both SU and ATS and losing by an average of 33.7 PPG, Kansas is officially the worst team in college football. Texas Tech has fallen way short of expectations and can get a bit of redemption here for themselves and their fans.

Oklahoma -22 teased goes to -16

The Sooners only trail the Cyclones in the Big 12. Spencer Rattler is putting up numbers like his predecessors while the defense has looked their best this season. They will keep the pedal to the metal all four quarters.

College Football Teaser Picks Week 9

Illinois +13.5 teased goes to +19.5

Iowa does not own an explosive offense. And Illinois has developed a real ground assault, coming off outright wins at Rutgers and Nebraska (tallying over 600 yards rushing) and will keep this one closer than many think.

Alabama -29.5 teased goes to -23.5

In their final game of the regular season against a hated rival that mauled them a year ago, Mac Jones and the awesome Bama offense does a Win one for the Gipper as Saban has been dealing with Covid.

Teasers are another way to make money when betting College Football and there are many different type of teasers to bet.

Let’s take a look at the best teaser bets for Saturday.

4 Team 6 Point Teaser: Baylor +4.5 / Oklahoma State -15.5 / Texas Tech +8.5 / North Dakota State -17 (+260)

Baylor is currently the favorite in this game, but flipping the line to getting them at +4.5 is a strong play. Baylor has an advantage under center, and getting them as underdogs is a steal.

Oklahoma State takes on a Kansas Jayhawks squad that has already been dominated against Coastal Carolina. Kansas struggles against the run and that is going to continue in this game against a very good Cowboys team.

Texas Tech is facing off against a Kansas State team that is in a major letdown spot after beating Oklahoma in their last game. Texas Tech is an elite offensive team and they are going to have no issue running up the score in this one.

North Dakota State is playing only one game this fall and they are going to want to put on a show, especially for Trey Lance. Many believe Lance is going to be one of the top picks in the NFL draft next spring and this is his one and only showcase. The Bison are going to run up the score, Trey Lance is going to have a big game, and getting it at 17 puts it on a key number.

5 Team 7 Point Teaser: East Carolina vs. Georgia State over 62 / Baylor +5.5 / Missouri vs. Tennessee over 41.5 / North Dakota State -16 / TCU vs. Texas over 55.5 (+350)

College Football Teaser Picks This Week

East Carolina has a good offense, but their defense also proved in the first game, they aren’t very successful.

Football

Tennessee showed some holes with their defense in the first game, and Missouri did find offensive success in the first game. Shaving seven points off that total down to 41.5 makes that bet very attractive.

Texas has a terrible defense but they have also shown that they have one of the best offenses in Big 12. In this game, 55.5 points is too low.
